HAIR TO DYE FOR - AT HOME PRODUCT TESTING

We’re working with one of the UK's leading hair dye brands to gain knowledge and understanding of women's preferred methods of dyeing their hair at home, what they look for when it comes to hair dye, and help shape and develop the brands newest product by sharing valuable insights.

 

Women will be asked to test the permanent hair dye product at home and then be invited to take part in an in-depth interview with the brand with two further follow up interviews over the course of a couple of months.

We’re conducting research with small and medium sized business who are led by people from ethnic minority communities across the UK. 

 

The objective of the research is to explore the barriers to productivity, potential competitive advantages, and to understand how, and why different types of businesses are accessed. 

 

The research will be carried out over the phone by members of the Community Research team and will last approximately 45-60 minutes, in which you'll be incentivised £65 for your participation.

MEASURING CONSUMER BRAIN WAVES

We are working with a leading high street brand to measure your brain waves whilst watching TV content.

 

During the session you will wear a small cap (similar to a shower cap) that measures brain activity or “brain waves”. The caps do not generate any electricity, are completely safe and have no effect on the wearer. During the session, you will view the TV program through a set of glasses (similar to virtual reality goggles).

 

This will be a really exciting and engaging project with the opportunity to use this incredible new technology, to help the brand understand how consumers brains engage with various TV content.

We’re recruiting children from ethnic minority backgrounds across the UK, aged 0-16, to take part in an exciting and interactive weekly diary survey in partnership with a leading Research Agency.  

 

We want to find out what kids enjoy in the world of media and entertainment, what they watch, play and interact with in safe spaces online.

Adult Swim Revives Samurai Jack

The Time Warner-owned cable programmer that tilts toward millennial viewers and younger generations with animated fare shown in primetime and overnights, said it would release more original programming via streaming video for daytime viewing as part of an effort to spur its audience to increase consumption of its oddball but cult-favorite content.

The outlet ” simply knows its audience,” said Christina Miller, president and general manager, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang, in a prepared statement.

As part of its slate of programs, expected to be cited next week during a presentation by Time Warner’s Turner unit, Adult Swim will unveil its revival of “Samurai Jack,” the former Cartoon Network series that has not produced an original episode since 2004. Original creator and executive producer Genndy Tartakovsky will continue the epic story of a young prince from feudal Japan vies with a shape-shifting demon named Aku in the far-flung future. The series will be produced by Cartoon Network Studios.

Samurai fonts

If you are making Samurai art don't forget to change the font to something matching the theme!

If you don't already know fonts are small files that end with the extension .TTF or .OTF, once you download the file on you desktop you can double click on the file and it will allow you to preview the font and download it to your system, after that you can open any word editing program or even photo editing program and chose that font you just downloaded, you can safely delete the file you just downloaded from the desktop if you want, the font will still be on your system.

Here are two links to sites where you can find Samurai fonts for your daily needs, for writing a letter to your wife back in the village, sending a flaming message to the emperor about his weak strategy or maybe laser engraving your name on your sword, they will definitely come handy.
